we need a parliament to ensure that you have freedom of speech, movements and association, and to ensure that there is no misuse of authority by elected leaders as constitution describe their powers and limitations to select the national government to control guide , and inform the government for making laws .
It's called 'parliamentary government' because all of the poweris vested in the parliament. In a presidential system like the United States, the executive branch isseparate, and the president ispopularly elected by the citizens of the nation.

This support is usually shown by a vote of confidence. The relationship between the executive and the legislature in a parliamentary systemis called responsible government.
