radius of curvature of spherical mirrors is the distance between pole and centre of curvature.

focal length is half the radius of curvature. so here focal length will be 12 cm.

the sign of focal length depends upon the type of mirror.

if we take concave mirror so focal length will be negative and if we take a convex mirror focal length will be positive.

same will be in case of lenses also.

concave lens has negative focal length and convex lens has a positive focal length.

this was all i could tell.

hope it helps u.
