At the junction of optic nerve and the retina, there are no rods and no cones. No image gets formed at this point as it is insensitive to light. This point is called as blind spot of the eye.

Answer:

This is the spot where the optic nerve meets the retina. No photosensitive cells are present at this spot. So, no image is formed at this spot. Hence, this is called the blind spot.
