Hello dear!
Caste hierarchy refers to the subdivisions of the caste system according to which the people of the society are being treated.
The 4 major castes/varnas are:
★ Brahmins (priests)
★ Kshatriyas (warriors)
★ Vaishyas (traders and farmers)
★ Shudras (labourers)
Then there happened to be one more group which was regarded as the ati-shudras. They were known as the CHANDALAS. They were regarded as the untouchables.
