That excludes any different arrangements which are simply due to the molecule rotating as a whole, or rotating about particular bonds. For example, both of the following are the same molecule

Isomerism
- Isomerism is a phenomenon of possessing same molecular formula, but different structure.
- If the isomerism is due to structure, then it is called as structuarl isomerism
- There are two types of isomerism..
Structural Isomerism
-chain isomerism
-Positional isomerism
-Functional isomerism
-Metamerism
Stereoisometism
-Geometrical Isomerism
-Optical isomerism
