There are three fluid-filled chambers in the eye. The anterior chamber is the volume between cornea and the iris, while the posterior chamber is the volume between iris and the lens.

Both these chambers contain a fluid known as aqueous humor. Aqueous humor is a watery fluid that is created by ciliary body. It helps in maintaining the pressure that is also called intraocular pressure and provides nutrition to the lens and cornea.

Aqueous humor gets drained continually through the Canal of Schlemm. The vitreous chamber has the greatest volume because it forms about four-fifths of the eye and is located between retina and lens.

The vitreous chamber is full of a thick gel-like liquid called vitreous humor that helps in maintaining the eye shape
