Answer:

Hey there...

here is ur answer......!

so , in decimal number there are two types , namely...

<> terminating

<> non-terminating.

as the name suggests termination ate the decimal numbers which come to an hault or a pause. for example 25/4 is 6.25 so it is coming to an hault.

and non-terminating decimals are the decimlas which never come to a solution. for example pi.

which is 22/7 is 3.14 and continues and never ends so that are called non- terminating decimals.

<> under these there are two subdivisions

< > recurring

< > non recurring

recurring is when the decimal number after the decimals point repeats it self for example

10/3 which is 3.333333333

continues and never ends so this is classified into recurring decimal

non recurring decimal is when the decimal numbers don't repeat it self.

for example take pi.

22/7

which is 3.14159 and continues and doesn't repeat the numbers.

so 10/3 is classifed as non-terminating recurring decimal.

22/7 can be classified as the non-terminating decimal

hope this helps!
