Blind Spot on the retina:-At the juction of the optic nerve and the retina there are no rods and cones no image gets formed at this point as it is insensitive to like this point is called the blind spot of the eye.

Persistence of vision of human eye:-The the image formed on the retina of the eye does does not fade away instantaneously,it's impression remains on the retina for about 1/16th of the second even after the removal of the objective brief continuous of the sensation of vision is called persistence of vision.
