Define the terms (a) element, (b) meteors.

ELEMENT : An element is a pure substance made up of one kind of atoms only. It cannot be converted or broken down further. Example: Pb (Lead)

METEORS : Meteoroids are small pieces of stones which revolve around the Sun. Some of these particles enter the Earth's atmosphere and due to friction gets heated up and start glowing. They are then called meteors.

a substance consisting of 1 kind of atom only is called element ..it ican not be broken by any method in2 simpler substance ......        meteor .................a small body of matter  from outer space  enters the earth surface & produces the streak of light is meteor
