Hieroglyphics are a system of picture writing used by the ancient Egyptian priests. At first, pictorial symbols represented words that were easily recognised like man, bird, flower, sun and eye. Later, as hieroglyphics developed, some symbols were used to represent sounds.

Cuneiform script belongs to Sumer.It is one of the earliest writing script.This system of writing is first developed by the Sumerians of Mesopotamia.
