according to the theory of plate tectonic The crust of earth has been formed out of seven major and some minor plates result in building up stresses within the plates and Continental rocks above.... the formation of Himalayas is also a result of this movement of plates the conventional current split the crust into a number of Pieces the leading to drifting of the Indo-Australian plate after being separated from gondwaana land towards north leading to the formation of Himalayas which serves as a youthful topography
