ELECTRIC current :- when no of charge particles passing through a cross section area of a body per unit time , then we say that current is passing through that body .
e.g current = Charge / time
Unit of charge = columbs
So,. Unit of electric current = columbs/sec

In S.I system columbs/sec is known as Ampere .

e.g. 1 A is equal to 1 columbs charge passing through a body per second .
