If a body is changing its place with respect to time then it is called motion .

There are three types of Motion :-

\boxed{Linear\:Motion:} An object has linear motion if it moves in a straight line or path. Itt is also called rectilinear motion.

Examples :-

¡ The motion of a car moving along a starlight road .

¡¡ Motion of a ball dropped from the roof of a building .

\boxed{Circular\:Motion(\:or\:Rotatory\:Motion):} An object has circular motion if it moves around a fixed point.

Examples :-

¡ The blades of fan rotates around a fixed point and therefore have rotatory motion.

¡¡ A tyre of car also moves around a fixed point, it also haves circular motion.

\boxed{Vibratory\:Motion:} A body has vibratory motion if it moves\textbf{to\:and\:fro} about fixed point just type of motion is called vibratory motion. Like a Pendulum.

Examples :-

¡ The motion of Guitar strings when plucked exhibits Vibratory Motion.

¡¡ The pendulum of watch also exhibits Vibratory Motion .
