Explanation:

Passage of the information in humans takes place through neurons. The neurons connect to each other and passes the message in the form of electric signals.

The axon of a neuron is connected with dendrite of another axon to pass the information. The gap between these two is known as "SYNAPSE"

Synapse: A microscopic gap between a pair of adjacent neurons over which nerve impulses pass from one neuron to next neuron is Synapse. There is a space at the synapse between the end of axon of first neuron and cell body (or) dendrite of the next neuron. This is called synaptic cleft.

The electric signals of the first neuron (called a pre-synaptic neuron) passes from its axon. When this happens, the electric signals convert into neuro-transmitters. The synaptic cleft conducts/transfers this information as neuro-transmitters to the dendrite of another axon where it again gets converted into electric signals.

Hope you understood.

Thank you.
