\underline\bold{Time\: Period}

For a wave, the speed is the distance traveled by a given point on the wave (such as a crest) in a given period of time.

S.I. unit is \bold{Second}

\underline\bold{Frequency}

So while wave frequency refers to the number of cycles occurring per second, wave speed refers to the meters traveled per second.

S.I. unit is \bold{Hertz}

Time period.

A time period is the time needed for one complete cycle of vaibration to pass in a given point. As the frequency of a wave increases, the time period of the wave decrease. The unit for time period is ‘Second’.Frequency and time period relationship that can be expressed mathematically

as T = 1/F or as F = 1/T

Frequency.

The SI unit of frequency is Hertz (hz), named after the German physicist Heinrich hertz. one hertz repeats once per second.
