Explanation:

◆TISSUES

Tissuesare groups of cells that have a similar structure and act together to perform a specific function. The word tissue comes from a form of an old French verb meaning “to weave”.

●TYPES

There are four different types of tissues in animals: connective, muscle, nervous, and epithelial. In plants, tissues are divided into three types: vascular, ground, and epidermal. Groups of tissues make up organs in the body such as the brain and heart.

◆CELL

Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. The human body is composed of trillions of cells. They provide structure for the body, take in nutrients from food, convert those nutrients into energy, and carry out specialized functions.

◆WORKING OF CELL

The cells in our bodies, however, worktogether with similar cells to form structures called tissues. Tissues make up the different organs and functional material in our bodies.

Answer:

Cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life. They are the building blocks of life.

There are two types of cells -

  • Prokaryotic cells - Cells without a primitive nucleus and other membrane bound organelles. Example - bacteria.
  • Eukaryotic cells - Cells with a primitive nucleus and membrane bound organelles. Example - Protozoans, protistans.

Tissues - When cluster of cells join together, they are known as the tissues. Tissues perform similar Functions.
