Translocation in plants occurs by means of the vascular tissue known as phloem. Translocation is necessarybecause without it, the food prepared by the leaves cannot reach other parts of the plant. In plants, the synthesis of sugars takes place in the leaves by the process of photosynthesis

davisjacobgoodpednc5: what about the hormone?
nischay1122pdx5j6: Auxins promote stem elongation, inhibit growth of lateral buds (maintains apical dominance). They are produced in the stem, buds, and root tips. Example: Indole Acetic Acid (IA). Auxin is a plant hormoneproduced in the stem tip that promotes cell elongation.
davisjacobgoodpednc5: i said where is the hormone synthesised ?
davisjacobgoodpednc5: not auxins
nischay1122pdx5j6: Unlike animals, plants have no specialized organs designed solely for hormone synthesis and secretion .
davisjacobgoodpednc5: oh ok so i will it like this?
nischay1122pdx5j6: yes
davisjacobgoodpednc5: ok thx bro

Explanation:

1. Translocation: refers to the process of the movement of minerals synthesised in the leaves of a plant. The translocation is important for the plant as the different organs of the plants require the sugar so is not to be translocated.

2.  Synthesis of sugar: The sugar is synthesized in the leaves of the plant especially in the chloroplast of the leaves by the process of photosynthesis.

3. Synthesis of Hormones: the phytohormones are produced in different sites depending on the function like in the leaves, root, fruits but no specific organ is associated with it.
