Triploblastic:

  • Triploblastic organism is an organism in which the body tissues have originated from 3 distinct layers namely the ectoderm, endoderm and the mesoderm.
  • All the organisms arise from a single cell called the zygote that is formed as a fusion between the male and the female gamete.
  • This zygote undergoes series of mitotic divisions to form the blastula. At this stage the cells of the foetus are divided into 3 distinct layers namely the ectoderm, endoderm and the mesoderm.
