When a particle moves with a constant speed in a circular path, its motion is said to be uniform circular motion.
In U.C.M.,the speed of the body is uniform, but the direction of motion of particle changes at eqch point of the circular path. The continuous change in direction of motion implies that the velocity is variable. Therefore, motion is called as accelerated motion.

Explanation:
uniform circular motion can be describe as the motion of an object in a circle at a constant speed.Uniform circularmotion is accelerated because the velocity changes due to continuous change in the direction of motion.
