vectors can be multiplied in two ways, a scalar product where the result is a scalar and cross or vector product where is the result is a vector in this article we will look at the cross or vector product of two vectors

Vector product of two non-zero vectors a⃗ and b⃗ , is
a⃗ x b⃗ = |a⃗||b⃗|sinθ.n̂
● Properties of vector product-
1. a⃗ x b⃗ is also a vector
2. When a⃗ & b⃗ are parallel, then a⃗xb⃗ = 0.
3. When a⃗ & b⃗ are perpendicular, then
a⃗xb⃗ = |a⃗||b⃗|
4. sinθ = |a⃗xb⃗| / |a⃗||b⃗|
