Velocity can be defined as a speed of something in a given direction..

The SI unit is m/sec.

The SI unit is cm/sec..

Velocity is the displacement per unit of time in a particular straight direction .

It's S.I. unit is meter/sec(m/s) and it's C.G.S unit is centimeter/sec (cm/s) .
