✔The process of crystallization is used to purify a solid from its impurities.

✔First of all, we take about 5 gram of impure sample of copper sulphate in a China dish.

✔After that, we dissolve it in minimum amount of water then filter the impurities.

✔Saturate the solution by heating that is when some solid starts evaporating.

✔Then we cover the solution with filter paper and leave it undisturbed to cool slowly for a day.

✔Hence, by this process we will obtain the crystals of copper sulphate in a China dish.

➢ Take some impure copper sulphate in a china dish and dissolve in minimum amount of water.

➢ Filter the solution to remove impurities.

➢ Heat the copper sulphate solution on water bath.

➢ When small crystals form on glass rods, stop heating.

➢ Allow the saturated solution to cool slowly.

➢ Crystals of pure copper sulphate are formed.

➢ Separate the copper sulphate crystals by filtration and dry.
