Wind Energy

Traditionally, in the past, wind has been used for winnowing propelling sailboat and for running windmills. Among them windmills are the most appropriate way of generating electricity from the wind. Windmills designed to act as turbine are now being used to generate electricity. Winds forms with a cluster of wind mills have been set up in the coastal areas and in the mountain passes where is strong and steady winds blow. Germany, Denmark, Spain, China, the UK, tge USA and the India have developed wind farms to generate electricity from the wind.

However at some places wind is not a dependable source of energy as it does not glow with equal force at all time.
