Work

In our daily life work is used for some sort if exertion. Physical or mental. For various activities such as reading, writung or by pulling the heavy loads. Work is said to be done only when the force applied on a body makes the vody move.

Energy

A body capable of doing work is said to possess energy. The energy possssed by a body is measured by the amount of work that the body can perform.

Hope this may help you friend.

Work[W] is said to be done, when an object gets displaced from its initial position by an external force...

  • Given By: W = F.s

•Work is the mode of transfer of energy

•Work uses force to transfer energy

•Work is numerically obtained as the scalar or the dot product of the force acting on an object and its displacement

•The work done by a force on an object at an angle to its displacement is numerically obtained as:

  • The product of the magnitude of the force on the object and component of its displacement in the direction of the applied force...
  • The product of the component of the force acting on the object in the direction of the displacement and the displacement of the object...

W = FscosΦ

The energy[E] possessed by an object is defined as its capacity to do work...

The Work-Energy theorem states that ''The total work done on an object results in the change in its kinetic energy...''
