ROUGHAGE:- Roughage is found in vegetables, fruits, beans and cereals. It has no nutritive value, but prevents constipation and is necessary for proper functioning of digestive system.

PROTEIN:- Proteins are macromolecules which consists of chain of amino acids.

VITAMINS:- Vitamins are the organic compounds that are required by the body as they protect our body against invading pathogens and provide immunity to the body.

DEFICIENCY DISEASE:- Disease that are caused by the lack of some particular nutrient in a person's diet are called deficiency disease.

Roughage in certain fruits and vegetables helps in getting rid of undigested food. Fruits , vegetables contain roughage. Meat does not contain roughage . Eating too much meat will suffer from constipation .

Protein are body building foods. They help to grow. Eggs are rich in protein. A child needs more protein to grow.

Vitamins are protective foods. They protect us from diseases, and improve our appetite. Ex: fruits and vegetables

Deficiency diseases are disease caused by deficiency of vitamin or mineral.
Ex: night blindness by deficiency of vitamin a.
Beriberi by deficiency of vitamin b
Scurvy by deficiency of vitamin c
