Matter: Anything Which occupies Space and has mass is called matter.

Examples: Milk, Rocks, Oxygen, Food, plants, etc.,

Classified matter into two types:

  • Physical Classification

  • Chemical Classification

On the basis of Physical classification matter is classified:

  • Solid

  • Liquid

  • Gas

  • Plasma⇒ Plasma is made of ions and free electrons

  • BEC (Bose Einstein Condensate)

  • Fermionic Condensate ⇒ It discovered in 2003.

On the basis of Chemical classification matter is classified :

  • Pure Substance ⇒ Pure Substance is made of one kind of Substance.

  • Impure Substance or Mixture ⇒ Impure Substance is made up two or more pure substance.
