Those resources which are found inside the earth are called mineral resources.
e.g. iron,gold,etc.

Those resources which can give energy are called energy resources.
e.g. petrol,diesel,etc.

Minerals and energy resources provide the foundation for economic and industrial development no country can think of improving and its standard of living without utilising its mineral and energy resources. In the simple word we can define the mineral resources are the type of resources by which we can obtain many minerals weather it is in the form of solid or liquid state. and energy resources in simple word can be defined as the resource by which we can get energy.
