PROKARYOTIC CELL :

Prokaryotic cells are those cells which do not have any membrane surrounding the organelles.

Prokaryotic cell do not have endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, golgi bodies, plastids, etc.

They have ribosome as ribosomes are non-membranous.

Prokaryotic cell also do not have a well shaped nucleus.

Examples of organisms having prokaryotic cells are : Bacteria, cyanobacteria, protozoa, etc.

Prokaryotic organisms are mainly unicellular, i.e., they are made up of only one cell.
