matter includes 3 states : solid , liquid nd gas.solid has tightly arranged molecules in it . so the particlles are not so easy to move. in liqiud , moleculles are neither arranged nor leaved free. in gAs , molecuulles are left free so that they can mmove very easily.these lare sollid , liqd , gqs

solid doesn't flow.
solid doesn't compress much.
solid doesn't fill its container completely.
eg. tree, stone, etc....


define liquid

a substance which flows easily
liquid particles are closely packed but not as solid.
liquid flow easily.
liquid compress much.
liquid doesn't fill its container completely.
eg. milk, oil, water, etc......

define gas
a substance which gives a shape.
gas generally flow.
gas compress easily.
gas fill its container completely.
eg.  co2, etc....
