Heya friend!
Your question might be wrong.
In political science, it is called Defection, not Defection.
Suppose a person has become a Member of Parliament (MP) by the support of a political party. Now, if he deflects towards another part by abstaining to vote against its party, it is called Defection.
The speaker of the Lok Sabha may suspend an MP by Anti-Defection Law
Thanks!
