Yeah, deforestation leads to increase in the global temperature not directly but it is one of the main cause.. what happens is the forest absorbs all the carbon-dioxide during photosynthesis.. so they actually absorb the carbon dioxide and gives out oxygen . But when we cut them down the level of carbon dioxide increases which is one of the main green house gas and they do trap the solar uv radiation and prevent them getting deflected in the outer space thus.. indirectly they do increase the global temperature
