Delegation means the assignment or responsibility for the completion of part of the work.

In the process of delegation, a  person with particular authority assigns another person do complete a particular task.

It is basically a one way process where a person in a superior position delegates authority to the subordinates.

Though the person assigning the task to someone will the sole person who will be held responsible for the completion of the task.
