It also presents the Drafting Committee’s report and the Assembly’s resolution on the Head of State; Nehru’s note for Sheikh Abdullah written at Sonamarg ; President Rajendra Prasad’s note to the Prime Minister on Article 370; the bill to amend the State’s Constitution on 3 November 1952; and the motion of Mirza Muhammad Afzal Beg to move the Assembly for the adoption of the Bill on 10 November. The latter part of the chapter presents the Constitution Amendment Orders No. 39 and 42, and Order No. 44, as it applies to Jammu & Kashmir.
