Delhi has shorter days in winter than in summer. How does this affect the weather?

The length of the day is techinically the same, but the sun does set earlier in winter.the Earth is tilted and as it rotates around the sun we have seasonal changes. During the summer months (we assume summer for the northern hemisphere) the tilt is away from the sun and therefore because of the tilt the southern hemisphere has more daylight.
