Why we make alloys for higher resitivity? It would not allow to flow current and electric aplliance will not run... so why we need high resistivity?

Alloys allow electric to flow as it is made up of two or more different types of metal.
But alloys has lower electrical conductivity that is why it is used electrical appliances which based on heating effect like electric fuse..

Mann02: Ok thanks
Mann02: You cleared my doubt
Mann02: Silly doubt
rahu2: the purpose of using alloy is not only to pass electric current, it is used for getting heat energy.
Mann02: and what do we do with heat energy?
rahu2: for heating water sometimes in cold weather, and in case of electric fuse, it helps in preventing excessive flow of current by melting fuse wire
Mann02: hmmm. Thanks!
