democracies are based on political equality. what does it mean?

democracy is a type of government in which is based on political equality because political party have the aim to have the power to have control over the people and people has the right to choose their representative if they want to be, and the elected representative have to face the public before the  election and after election if they don't work as per the people choice the people have the right to remove them and held the election again.

Government of the people, by the people and for the people. People have equal rights and votes and elect representative to administer the government is called democracy
