Indian democracy is democratic and republic which give every citizen equal status and rights irrespective of there religion, caste, population etc.
County is ruled by majority (by way of election). We give power to majority of people in parliament to govern the country by making policies and laws and implementing them etc.
But that doesn't we forget about minorities.
Dr.B.R.Ambedker done a bull work in this regard by providing reservation to backward classes.So, that they can do what ever they are capable of doing.
Not only this we are provided with diff. laws which protect the rights of minorities for ex.-right to practice any religion, maintain there institutions ,abolish untouchability , right to get admission in govt. institute irrespective of religion,cast etc. and lots more.
