In some cases, the democracy is off the people far (from) the people and (where they) buy the people i.e., where the democracy does not belong to the people it is not for them but far away from them, where the democracy is not by the people but the candidates the votes with money which means that true democracy does not exist. But we should not see these examples and be hopeless. These cases are exceptions and not the rule, which will be removed with the passage of time

Answer:

One of the great president in history, Abraham Lincoln stated that Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. But this statement in today's world no longer hold it's true meaning. It has rather became Democracy is the government off the people, far the people and buy the people due to increment in dirty politics in the field of democracy.

Explanation:

  • There was a time when democracy meant providing every human equal rights and opportunities in every sector. Opposite to that, in today's world, democracy no longer holds it's initial meaning.
  • Now politics has taken total control over the smooth government. Bribing for votes, bribing for keeping several mouths shut, buying almost whole media, not working according to needs of citizens has became a daily routine in life of political leaders.
  • This doesn't leads to democracy in any way. Therefore, now it has became government off the people, far the people and buy the people.
