“Democracy is the power of majority which respects minority.” Discuss.

After getting into majority government had to respect the minority because of constituency. If the government does not respect minority then it may possible that many small parties will come together in next election to defeat the majority

Basically democracy refers to the power or rule of majority over minority. In a country that is democratic, views of the majority are respected compared to the minority. This however, does not mean they do not disrespect views of the minority. For the whole system to be fair, there has to be voting, more wins and less loses.
