If you heat the solid it changes into the liquid and after cooling its come back to its solid state.But due to this Mass of solid do not changes It's fixed.

Liquid

If you heat the liquid it changes into gas but after cooling it's come back to its original state liquid and there is no change in mass in that process it's remains constant.

Gas.

If you cool the gas at some specific temperature it changes into solid and liquid but it's mass remains constant.
