When zinc granules react with dilute hydrochloric acid following reaction is the demonstration of the experiment.
this is most important method for production of hydrogen gas.
Zn(s) + dil.2HCl ( aq) --------> ZnCl2 (l) + H2(g)

When Zinc Granules reacts with dilute HCl .Then hydrogen gas will release and zinc chloride formed.
Reaction is
Zn(s) + HCl(l) = H2(g) + ZnCl2(s)
