Demonstrate with an activity that gases are highly compressible in nature.

It can be proved with the help of injection syringe. First take some powder (like face powder) in the syringe and try to push it. It will not get pushed because solid particles are close to each other and not get compressed easily. Then take water in the syringe and push it. The piston of syringe will move slowly as water particles are far from each other as compared to solids. Finally take nothing in syringe (Which means air is there). Syringe will move very easily because of large distance between the gas particles. This proves the high compressibility of gases.
