We know Density=PM/RT.Under identical conditions of temperature and pressure, the only factor that differentiates two gases is the molecular mass. Greater the molecular mass greater the density. Since, Ozone (O3) has greater molecular mass than methane(CH4), ozone will have greater density than methane.
The relative density of ozone with respect to methane is density of ozone/density of methane=molecular mass of ozone/molecular mass of methane= 48/16=3.
So, the answer is 3 option B
The relative density of ozone with respect to methane is density of ozone/density of methane=molecular mass of ozone/molecular mass of methane= 48/16=3.
So, the answer is 3 option B
