hey friend ,

here given that:-

density of wood = 0.5 g/cm^3

mass of wood = 5g

we know that ,

Density(d) = mass (m)/volume(v)

=) volume = mass/density

= 5/0.5 = 10 cm^3 ans.

here, according to question

given , density of wood = 0.5 g/cm³

and mass of wood = 5 g

therefore, by using the formula

density=mass/volume
so, Volume = mass / density

so, 0.5 g/cm³ / 5 g

0.1 cm³
ie:- 10 cm³.

hence, the volume of wood is 10 cm³.

Anonymous: unit is wrong
AkashMandal: what would be
Anonymous: unit of volume can't be kg/m
Anonymous: unit of volume is either m^3 or cm^3
AkashMandal: is it correct
Anonymous: yup
AkashMandal: answer is right
Anonymous: but ur process of solving is wrong...
Anonymous: density = mass/ volume so volume = mass / density but u density /mass
