speed of sound is defined as :::
Speed of sound is how fast sound is propagating(travelling) in the medium.
Speed of the sound depends on the nature of medium.
If the medium is different then speed of the sound(produce by same vibrating object) is different.
For example:- Speed of sound in air = 344 m/s
Speed of sound in fresh water = 1497 m/s etc.
Equation :::
As we know, speed (v) = distance / time
Here, in case of sound, we get,
speed (v) = wavelength (λ) / time period (T)
=> v = λ / T
=> v = (λ) * (1/T)
=> v = λ * f [As, f = 1/T]
=> v = f λ
