◆ Linear acceleration -
- In non-uniform circular motion, acceleration has two components.
1. Centripetal acceleration
2. Tangential acceleration
- These two components of acceleration are perpendicular to each other.
# Centripetal acceleration -
- It's direction is along the radius of circle and magnitude is given by -
ac = v^2/r
# Tangential acceleration -
- It's direction is along tangent to a point on circle and magnitude is given by -
at = rα
