Given data
a= 5m/s^2
v= 90 km/hr
converting velocity in m/s we get
v= 25 m/s
As train start from rest it's initial velocity u=0
using formula for acceleration
a=( v-u)/t
5= (25-0)/t
t= 25/5
t= sec
Using second kinematical equation
S= ut + 1/2 at square
S= 0×5 + 1/2 × 5 × (5)^2
S= 1/2 × 125
S= 125/2
S= 62.5 m
a= 5m/s^2
v= 90 km/hr
converting velocity in m/s we get
v= 25 m/s
As train start from rest it's initial velocity u=0
using formula for acceleration
a=( v-u)/t
5= (25-0)/t
t= 25/5
t= sec
Using second kinematical equation
S= ut + 1/2 at square
S= 0×5 + 1/2 × 5 × (5)^2
S= 1/2 × 125
S= 125/2
S= 62.5 m
