Let a satellite of mass m is orbiting in a circular orbit of radius r with an orbital velocity (vorb)
For its successful orbiting
Centripetal force = Gravitational force due to earth

{mv {orb}^{2} \div r} = gm \div r { }^{2} [/tex]
vorb \: = \: \sqrt{gm \div r}

where m is the mass of earth

Ve=11.2 km/s               Vo=7.9 km/s

keeping radius r
