Law of Conservation of Momentum Derivation. Law of conservation of momentum is defined for two or more bodies in an isolated system acting upon each other, their total momentum remains constant unless an external force is applied. Therefore, momentum can neither be created nor destroyed.

Answer:

Hey mate.......

Law of Conservation of Momentum :

According to law of conservation of linear momentum, when an external force applied on the system of bodies (interacting bodies) is zero, then the linear momentum of the system (interacting bodies) remains constant or conserved.

that is,

initial momentum of the system = final momentum of the system
