How to calculate the volume of metal in a hollow pipe

Radius of outside circle of pipe = R

Radius of inner circle of pipe = r

Height of the pipe = h

volume of hollow = π*r²*h

volume of whole pipe= π*R²*h

volume of pipe= πR²h-πr²h

= πh(R²-r²)

= π*(R²-r²)*h Ans.
